With prop-168 returned, the maximum from APNIC's remaining IPv4 pool stays at a /23 for now.

Why it matters for BYOIP teams

Community discussions that are not formal proposals are labelled as discussions. The RIPE Routing Working Group mailing list discussed using remote-triggered blackhole routing together with RPKI. The RIPE Chair Team's September 2026 report is the source for that discussion. It is relevant to BYOIP customers using DDoS scrubbing services.
