RIPE NCC publishes draft agenda for the October 2026 General Meeting

What changed

The RIPE NCC published the draft agenda for its October 2026 General Meeting on 17 September. The meeting takes place online and in person in Sofia, Bulgaria, from 28 to 30 October, alongside RIPE 93. The draft agenda includes:

• a discussion of the Draft Activity Plan and Budget 2027
• an Arbiter Panel election for six seats
• a vote on whether to distribute the 2026 surplus or deficit in 2027
• a vote on amendments to the Articles of Association that would change the Executive Board structure

Members can propose topics and resolutions until the agenda is finalised on 14 October; a proposal needs the support of 395 members to be considered by the Board. Registration to attend and vote closes at 14:00 (UTC+2) on 28 October.

Why it matters for BYOIP teams

Organisations that hold address space as RIPE NCC members, including many BYOIP holders and IP lessors, fund and govern the registry through the General Meeting. The 2027 budget and governance changes set the context for the services those holders rely on, such as the RPKI Dashboard and RIPE Database.
