HOSTOFF.NET BYOIP Integration Overview
Searching for the best IP providers? HOSTOFF.NET imports your IPv4 prefix with engineer help and then turns it into an address pool you manage yourself: new VPS in the same location take addresses from your block first, and changing an address from your own pool is free. The pool costs €25 per month regardless of size.
It is IPv4 only. The BYOIP FAQ excludes IPv6, and ordinary IPv6 comes from HOSTOFF.NET's own space. The announcing ASN, accepted prefix sizes and authorisation requirements are not published.

Caveats and Gotchas
- IPv4 only: IPv6 BYOIP is excluded.
- Same location only: an address from your pool can only go to your own active VPS in the prefix's location.
- Primary address changes reboot: replacing a server's primary address rewrites its network configuration through cloud-init and reboots it. Additional addresses are added without a reboot, but you configure them inside the OS.
- Illustrations are not limits: the /26 in the page's example and the /20 threshold for the address map do not describe which prefix sizes are accepted.

Withdrawal and Deprovisioning
Individual addresses can be released back to the pool, and a primary address can be replaced but not released. Withdrawing a whole prefix or cancelling a pool is not documented; arrange it through support before migrating.

Abuse & Reputation Management
- Acceptable use: the terms prohibit spam and attacks. Public VPN, proxy or anonymisation services need prior written agreement; private corporate VPNs are treated separately. Breaches can lead to suspension.
- Mail ports: the Fair Usage Policy blocks outbound ports 25, 465 and 587 by default. Support can review a request to open them.
- Reputation: bringing your own block keeps its history with you. Clean reputation, delisting help and email acceptance are not promised.
