DartNode BYOIP Integration Overview

Worth Knowing
Address family, minimum prefix, public ASN and BYOIP locations are not in the selected guide. Do not infer them from speed tests or the wider catalog.

Searching for the best IP providers? DartNode offers BYOIP announcements and routing to a customer service or cabinet. You can ask DartNode to announce the prefix, or arrange BGP with your own ASN, through a support ticket. This page does not treat every catalog SKU as independently verified.

Caveats and Gotchas

  • Do not infer an address family, a minimum prefix, or a location from the rest of the DartNode catalog.
  • The guide requests an up-to-date ROA and describes IRR filtering. That is a routing check, not a promise that every product accepts every prefix.

Technical Requirements

RequirementDetails
Prefix SizeNot documented.
ASN Ownership RequiredNo. Customer-ASN BGP is supported, and DartNode can also announce for you.
LOARequired.
RPKI ROAThe guide requests an up-to-date ROA. Routing validation also includes IRR filtering.

Step-by-Step BYOIP Process

Step 1
Open a support ticket and say whether you want DartNode to announce the prefix or a BGP session with your ASN.
Step 2
Provide the LOA and an up-to-date ROA.
Step 3
Agree the service or cabinet the prefix should route to.

Underlying service charges are separate from the announcement.

Cost and Limitations

ItemDetails
FeesThe described announcements, static routing and related routing services are advertised without an additional charge. The service or cabinet itself is billed separately.
